Overview

This Extension ("the Extension", "we", "us") is a read-only Solana blockchain portfolio tracker for Google Chrome. This Privacy Policy describes what information is collected when you use the Extension, how it is used, and your rights with respect to that information.

By installing or using the Extension, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please uninstall the Extension from your browser.

Data We Collect

Information you provide: The Extension collects only the Solana wallet addresses you manually enter into the input field. These are public blockchain addresses — they are not associated with your identity and do not grant access to any funds.

Automatically collected data: The Extension fetches publicly available on-chain data (SOL balance, staking accounts, transaction signatures) for the address you enter. This data is returned from Solana RPC nodes and is stored temporarily in your local browser cache to reduce redundant network requests.

We do not collect: seed phrases, private keys, passwords, IP addresses, device identifiers, cookies, browsing history, or any data from websites you visit.

How We Use Your Data

Wallet addresses you enter are used solely to query publicly available Solana blockchain data and display it to you within the Extension popup. Specifically:

Your entered address is stored in chrome.storage.local so it persists across browser sessions without requiring you to re-enter it. Cached portfolio data is stored in the same local storage and is used only to improve Extension performance. No data is transmitted to our servers or shared with any third party beyond the Solana RPC and price APIs listed below.

Third-Party Services

To retrieve on-chain data and price information, the Extension makes outbound requests to the following third-party services. Only the wallet address is transmitted — no personal information is included in these requests.

Local Data Storage

All data handled by the Extension is stored exclusively in your browser using the chrome.storage.local API. This storage is local to your device and is never synced, transmitted, or accessible outside your browser instance.

The following items are stored locally:

walletAddress — the last Solana address you entered.
portfolioData — cached SOL balance, staking info, and USD value.
trail_settings — your preferred blockchain explorer and network selection.

You can clear all locally stored data at any time via the Settings → Clear Cache button inside the Extension, or by uninstalling the Extension from Chrome.

Data Retention

Cached portfolio data expires automatically after 60 seconds. Price data expires after 2 minutes. All cached data is held in memory during your session and written to local storage only to survive browser restarts.

Your saved wallet address and settings persist until you manually clear them or uninstall the Extension. We do not retain any data on our servers because no data is transmitted to our servers.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the Extension after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
